Under the Subscriptions & Licensing tab, users can:

  • Access information about their account
  • Approve quotes for subscriptions and upcoming renewals
  • View invoices for up-to-date information regarding their payments.  

Viewing Account Information

Under Account Information, users can view:

  • Status of their account
  • The date the trial expires
  • License counts
  • Current subscription plan.

Accounts may be in various states, including:

  • In Trial: Trial has not yet expired; expiration date is listed below 

  • Expired: Trial has expired; user will be prompted to upgrade account

  • Active: Account is paid and activated

  • Suspended: Account has been suspended; no access at this time

  • Cancelled: Account has been cancelled; no access at this time


Viewing Billing Information

Under Billing Information, users can:

  • View and change billing contact information
  • View the total cost and duration of the subscription
  • Access current payment method, and an account balance

NOTE: If an account balance is zero, payment is up-to-date. 


Renewing Subscriptions

Under Billing Information, accounts can be renewed by clicking Renew Now in the Total Cost section. For purchase orders and checks, a PO number is required to renew an account, otherwise the user will be prompted to enter credit card information to renew. 


Upgrading A Trial

When it comes time to upgrade your account to a subscription, simply click the upgrade link next to Account Status.   

 

A popup window will appear, presenting licensing options and will prompt you to enter your credit card information. Catalyst accepts Visa, MasterCard, AmericanExpress, and Discover Card.

 

 


Number of Students: Allows the user to enter the number of student licenses needed for a subscription

Billing Interval: Allows user to select a monthly or yearly payment interval

Amount Due: Total cost of the subscription to be charged


Renewing Subscriptions

Under Billing Information, accounts can be renewed by clicking the Renew Now link in the Total Cost section. For purchase orders and checks, a PO number is required to renew an account. Otherwise, the user will be prompted to enter their credit card information for the renewal. 


Approving Quotes 

When quotes are created for specific plans, they will appear in the Quotes section. Here you will find the quote creation date, the billing interval, unit price, license count, discount percentage, total price, a PDF download link. Quotes can be accepted by clicking the Approve button under Mark Active.  

 

Once a quote has been approved by a user, a green box will indicate that the quote has been accepted.

 


Viewing Invoices 

The Invoices tab shows an up-to-date list of subscription invoices. Once an account has been upgraded, an invoice will automatically be sent to the billing contact's email address and will appear under the invoices tab. Here the user can view the date the invoice was generated, the total amount of the invoice, whether it has been paid or not, amount paid, date of payment, and a PDF of the invoice. 

 

 


Adding Licenses 

Licenses can be added to an account by selecting Add Licenses under Account Information.

 

 

Once selected, a popup window will appear asking how many licenses the user wishes to add. 

 

 

Once the number of licenses is selected, a charge will appear and will be prorated depending on when they are added in reference to the length of the subscription. 

 

 

Now the user can complete the purchase and update their account!
