Entering Data for a Single Target
In order to take data on skill acquisition targets, click the Skill Data sub tab (this is the sub tab that is displayed by default when you select the Data Entry tab). Select a target by clicking on the plus sign in the upper left.
You can then select a target from the dropdown list or type the name of the target in the box and the targets will be filtered automatically.
Targets are color coded in the drop down menu. Targets in Maintenance are dark yellow, Baseline targets are blue, and Acquisition or In Treatment targets are green
Entering Data for Multiple Targets
If entering data for multiple targets, click the Multiple button.
A window will display with all Skill Areas Listed.
Select to Expand to view all programs within Skill Areas
A list of all programs and targets will then be displayed.
Click the box next to the targets to select multiple targets for which to enter data.
To select all targets with in a program, click All
To clear selections, click None.
To clear selections from multiple programs within a Skill Area, click None at the top of the box.
In order to display targets for data entry by Status (Baseline, Open, or Maintenance), click that Status dropdown menu.
At the top of the dropdown menu, you can select all target statuses for selection or none.
To sort targets by type (e.g., DTT, frequency, task analysis), click the Target Type Dropdown menu.
From the top of the dropdown menu, users can select to display all target types or none.
Users can also select to display several types of targets at once.
Once the desired target types have been selected, click anywhere outside of the dropdown menu and click on the desired skill area.
Targets will then be displayed that meet you search criteria. In this example that would be DTT, duration, task analysis, and frequency targets.
Select the targets desired for data entry and click OK
A datasheet will be rendered and ready for data collection.
By using the universal settings at the top of the screen, Catalyst can automatically fill in the user, session date, and time for all data entry targets selected.
Check with box next to the entry and then select from the dropdown menu, calendar, or time selector.
Once the desired universal settings have been selected, they will be applied to all selected targets on the data entry page
If one of the universal settings is not selected, that item will display on the data sheet to allow for customizable entries
DTT and Jump To Data Entry
DTT and Jump To targets have the following fields; session date, time, user, and prompt code.
To enter the date users can either click the calendar icon and select the date or manually enter the date.
In order to enter multiple trials for a target simply use the tab button and first letter of the prompt code (e.g., I for Independent) or click in the next trial box and select the prompt code from the list.
To delete a trial, click the red X.
To delete the entire entry from the page either navigate away from the page and data will be cleared or continue clicking the red X until all trials are deleted.
Rate/Fluency Data Entry
Rate/Fluency targets include session date, time, user, and a section for the total duration and the count.
Duration Data Entry
Duration targets include session date, time, user, and a section for the total duration.
Anecdotal Data Entry
Anecdotal targets include session date, time, user, and a section for entering text.
Task Analysis Data Entry
Task Analysis targets include session date, time, user, and a section for entering prompt codes for each step.
Quantity Data Entry
Quantity targets include session date, time, user, and a section for entering a numerical value.
Frequency Data Entry
Frequency targets include session date, time, user, and a section for entering the total frequency for the day.
Interval targets include session date, time, user, and a section for the total number of intervals and the number of intervals during which the behavior occurred.
Echoic Data Entry
Echoic targets include session date, time, user, and a section for entering the rating for volume, articulation, intonation, speed, and rhythm.
Toileting Data Entry
Toileting targets include session date, time, user, and a section for entering the sit duration, type of void, and prompt level required.
To print a datasheet, add the desired targets and click PDF or Excel on the right.
Entering Data for Multiple Days
To enter Skill Acquisition data for multiple days, simply enter the same target as many times as needed and change the date, enter the appropriate data, and click save.
After you have entered all your Skill Acquisition data don't forget to click save!
